Yes! I am still here! I guess I just needed a small break from diaryland... or at least from writing. I have been reading all along.
I have really only been working and then totally spending my days off... laying around or ick.. cleaning. The sun has seriously not been out here for 16 days or something like that. Today and yesterday were the first days of sun in eons.
What a rotten summer we have had.
As for me and hubby... we are sort of having a truce at the moment. We are having work done on the house and we just got a new puppy... half pug, half terrier... he's really so homely that he's cute. I like him. Didn't think I would... but hey, the little guy is growing on me.
Had a big blow out fight 3 weeks ago over Todd being at a barbeque where I was. Hubby was at work and he knew I was going. He knew Todd would be there. We had a great time... just a big group of us swimming and stuffing our faces. It was for Brenda's hubby's birthday.
Well some big mouthed bitch who was there... (I thought she was nice) started spreading rumours about the spectacle out there that day. She told my sister-in-law who promptly told hubby. She couldn't wait. Anyway, he met me at the beach when I got home from work that morning, flipping out. All for nothing, because all that we had was innocent fun and this bitch made it sound like we were having a great big orgy or something. For God's sake, all our kids were there too... Get a grip.
Anyway, things have relatively calmed down. Although hubby's sister-in-law called Todd's sister-in-law while he and his wife were on vacation and told her that I had been kicked out because of my affair with Todd. She immediately called Todd and his wife in a mall and told them...
I was MORTIFIED. So for the last 2 weeks I have been stressing about whether or not he is angry with me... though I know I did nothing wrong. Come to find out that his wife is mad at my hubby for calling around and causing trouble in the first place. She's not mad at me. And that's awesome.
So today I finally had a chance to call Todd and we had a great chat. He's not angry at me. He is ok. And now I can relax and start eating again. I haven't had a bite in 2 days...
Anyway.. have no time to write more now...
