Big barbeque at Brenda's yesterday... then buggying last night. Got soaked and had to come home early because Shawn's brother-in-law and his girlfriend Debbie's buggy kept losing their headlight.. the fuse kept blowing. So we had to lead them home through the trails.
I was not happy to leave early. We were having such a blast. Oh well. Whatever. Maybe I'll head out on the trails for a buggy ride of my own today for something to do.
My neice has arrived! She came yesterday and she's staying for good.. I was thrilled to see her. She looks so grown up. She did upset me a little when she admitted to smoking. I don't know how to deal with this. I smoke and I have a feeling that she is gonna want to smoke with me... but I just can't condone her smoking and I'll have to tell her. Andrew (her father) would be so upset if he knew and I just can't help her smoke.
Todd and his wife didn't come buggying with us. They ended up staying out to camp and saying we could come out if we wanted... we didn't of course. So they are probably out there right now just waking up and blah blah blah...
Todd gave me the idea that things aren't all that peachy at their house lately. I don't know why he told me this.. maybe he wants me to know for his own reasons. Whatever the reason, I'm thrilled at this development.. as selfish as that may be.. and I hope the word single soon describes him well... because this girl will be single too mighty quick if he is.. and I told him as much.
Brenda gave Debbie the impression that I am invading her space by wanting to know when Todd shows up and calls... spoke to her about the buggy ride she took alone one day when she told me I couldn't come. She told her how defensive I became... well it seems weird to me to head out in the woods all by yourself and tell your friend she cannot go, but you'll take her in the morning.. WHATEVER.
All I have to say is this... and I'll tell Brenda this too... She may think I invade her space (even though we have a deal to be honest about his calls so that we can somehow be friends), but she fucking invaded my space 10 months ago when she screwed him and therefore entered my life and his in a horrific way.. I would say that is an invasion of space, wouldn't you? A big, horrible invasion of space.
Debbie told me that if it had been her that Brenda did this to, she would have kicked her ass, and I wish that I was a different person, because if I was, I would have too.. and I wouldn't be going through this bullshit "pretend" niceness that is going on between us.
He's mine... she might as well go somewhere and play Hide and Go Fuck Yourself.
